The blockbuster action flick that kickstarted the summer of 2009 slashes its way to single-disc DVD, 2-disc Special Edition DVD, and 2-disc Blu-ray! X-Men Origins: Wolverine explores the shadowy past of one of Marvel's most iconic heroes, starring Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston, Lynn Collins, and Ryan Reynolds.

The 2-disc DVD edition is packed with the following extras: commentary from director Gavin Hood and producers Lauren Shuler Donner and Ralph Winter; a behind-the-scenes interview with X-Men creators Stan Lee and Len Wein, who discuss the origins of Wolverine; deleted and alternate scenes; an alternate tag scene; an anti-smoking PSA; a featurette entitled "Wolverine Unleashed: The Complete Origins"; and a digital copy of the movie.

The Blu-ray edition includes all the DVD extras, plus additional commentary and deleted material; a trivia track; a look at the film's world premiere; and a trio of exclusive featurettes: "10 Character Chronicles," "The Thrill of the Chase: The Helicopter Chase Sequence," and "X Connect and On Set With Gavin Hood."
