Nearly ten years after its theatrical debut, Varsity Blues comes to Blu-ray and Deluxe Edition DVD for the first time. The 1999 coming-of-age sports flick stars James Van Der Beek, Amy Smart, Jon Voight, Paul Walker, and Scott Caan, but it is probably most remembered as the movie that featured Heroes star Ali Larter in a whipped cream bikini--at least, that's how all the serious historians of cinema remember it.
This newly-issued Deluxe Edition includes commentary from director Brian Robbins and producers Tova Laiter and Mike Tollin, as well as an assortment of special featurettes:
