Once again back from the dead after what was supposed to be his grand finale, prolific silver screen slasher Jason Voorhees returns in Friday the 13th: A New Beginning. This fifth installment of the never-ending horror franchise is now available on a newly released Deluxe Edition DVD.
Friday the 13th: A New Beginning is presented in enhanced widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1. The deluxe edition includes the following bonus features: commentary from director/co-screenwriter Danny Steinmann and cast members; part five of the "Lost Tales from Camp Blood" short; "The Crystal Lake Massacres Revisited: Part 2"; and a making-of featurette entitled "New Beginnings: The Making of Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning."
