Born: Gillian Leigh Anderson, August 9, 1968

Best known in her role as FBI Special Agent Dana Scully on Fox's hit series The X-Files. The show has spawned one feature film and has been running since 1993. Gillian Anderson co-stars with David Duchovny.

Gillian has reprised and parodied the role of Scully in a variety of animated venues: she played Scully on The Simpsons in "The Springfield Files"; she played Scully on Eek! the Cat in "Eek Space 9"; and she played Data Nully on ReBoot in "Trust No One."

Triviality: Scully's middle name is Katherine.
